More Company Details:
Due to his experience running a computer systems and software business, Fred had a keen perspective on an industry that was exploding from the mainframe to the desktop to the mobile arena. He applied what he knew about the industry into an investing strategy that he describes as a cross between Warren Buffett’s and William O’Neil’s.
Because much of his time was dedicated to his job as CEO of Telecomp Computers in Milford, Connecticut, Fred published his newsletter for a small number of institutions and high net-worth individuals, but he did not devote a lot of time to marketing the letter to a mass audience. Rather, he worked on proving his investment thesis, and sent every issue of his print newsletter to the newsletter-tracking firm, The Hulbert Financial Digest.
In 1998, when Mr. Hager decided to retire from Telecomp, he brought his portfolios and strategy online in the form of Fredhager.com. He began to assemble a team of experts in technology investing, and today the team builds on the tradition Fred started over 15 years ago.
In 1999 and 2000, Fredhager.com attracted enough interest among investors that The Hulbert Financial Digest initiated tracking of its portfolios. In 2000, Fredhager.com was the top performing letter of all 160 tracked by the newsletter tracking service.
Now, Fredhager.com is among the leading technology investing resources on the web. For investors who are searching for the best research into the top names in technology, and those who are in need of portfolio guidance, Fredhager.com is the only service that has produced the most consistently impressive and profitable results for over 15 years."
