Our history dates back to 1899 when Berman Brothers Fur and Wool Trading Company was created in Minnesota. The business bought hides and fur from hunters and trappers to manufacture into leather apparel and accessories. The production plant evolved throughout the years, meeting the needs of the growing retail chain until 1981.
Fifty years after the Bermans started their business, a family named Wilson started Wilson's House of Suede and Leather in Southern California.
